The latest retro-movie I saw was an Italian made movie called, “Demons.”
Basic Synopsis: people get free tickets to a movie but the movie comes to life after a prostitute puts on a Demon Mask found at Nostradamus’s tomb. She turns into a Demon then kills everyone else who become Demons after they die.
I give this movie 7 out of 10. This is due to the fact of a lot of blood, a lot of gore. Classic 1980s feel. Using Coke as a marketing tool. Seriously, there was a lot of scenes with Cokes, Coke Machine, and Hell even a group of 80s punks snorting cocaine from a can of Coke. Anyways there was eye gouging, people being scalped, brief nudity (Which Was Weird), and a Katana wielding hero on a motorcycle who was a weakling until he had to kill his friend. Definitely a odd movie, which is up my alley. Finally, a 10 year old shotgun blasting a teenager and a somewhat heroic pimp. Funny yes, and enjoyable.
