I regret to inform you that due to some issues with Smithfield we will not bring this amazing haunt to life this year. It sucks for me and many others that Smithfield was so adamant about not letting us put on a show, though it could have brought a lot of money to the community. These are just my thoughts. I do not know the behind the scene doings but I will give you a link so that you may see for yourself.
This will bring up another category to my blog about general discussion which I will right within the next couple of days. I believe that part of the issue for this event being shutdown is due to certain religious groups who fought tooth and nail against us and threatened to protest us if we did have the show. I can not back this up as fact for I did not talk to these people. This will be the subject of my discussion. Should religious beliefs take down businesses and the myth of Halloween being a day for the Devil? Hope you follow. Thanks for your support and patients.
