Terror Woods Haunt, Chesapeake, Va.

What is up everyone?  Just wanted to write about a new haunt I did this past Halloween Weekend.  Terror Woods is what it is called.  It was located in Chesapeake, Virginia at the Great Bridge Pumpkin Patch.  I think this is the first year open but that makes it good.  It makes it good because they have room to improve and they can see where the audience stands and is captivated.  It also allows leniency in the haunt.

Terror Woods was a 7 out of 10 haunt for me.  It takes place in a dark wooded area where the only light is from red fake candles so you cannot see much of anything.  It also started at 7:00 PM so it is dark anyway.  It is not super violent or gory but has many jump scares.  It uses cheesy props to distract you from live actors who will sneak behind you.  My girl nearly pushed me into a tree when a 10 ft. Grim Reaper followed us through most of the haunt.  The tour of the woods have to guides and different areas that are set up to scare you in which they will make you wait.  It was all in all a good haunt that made you feel scared and made it hard to predict the next scare.  Continue doing what you are doing Terror Woods and you will become a great haunt.
