Finally, I am back in action. Sorry for the absence. I have been making up for some recently shitty events so a lot of work and not a lot of extra time. Well that is enough of me bitching. Yesterday, Ashley, Kyle, and I visited, “Spooky Acres,” a local haunt that has been around for 21 years in Tidewater Area. It is located off of Virginia Beach Blvd. near Janaf shopping center. I will post the address with link below. This haunt has been raising money for The March Of Dimes for years. It has a dedicated group of individuals who love a haunt.

Our group entered the haunt with barely a line which saddened me because this place is worth a wait. The building was dark and foggy with creatures roaming the lobby and we are not even in the haunt yet, but the anticipation grows. Last year was the first year I found this haunt and it impressed me so I am happy that it is still going strong. The cost of admission is $15 but most are donated to the charity so why not give a little. We waited for maybe 10 minutes before entering the haunt. We were briefed that the creatures can touch you but please do not touch them back. When I say they can touch you they will grab you separate you from the group just to scare which is excellent. This is the haunts I remembered until we all became weak and pathetic and sue and the first chance we get to feel unsettled. Suck it up! You will travel through this maze and but with a guide so don’t worry till the end. There are many scenes in this haunt. Dollhouses, children’s room , cult worshiping sites, executioner chairs, and butcher shops and they will all surprise you. Then it is the ending where you are left in a maze in which there are no lights and you must find your way out. Just as a warning there are doors in this maze and if you do not open them you will be back in the haunt. Once you escape the maze you are home free. This is a great attraction for many new to intermediate haunters.

In conclusion I enjoyed this haunt thoroughly. The actors are good the charity is great and the haunt is definitely scary for most. As a side note if anyone from the haunt sees this I still do not believe that I did damage in the haunt but if I did it was not out of malice and I do apologize. I just am a big person and somewhat clumsy so sorry if I damaged the facility. It was truly unintentional but thank you once again for a great haunt that needs to stay for years to come.
