Hello, everyone. As Halloween approaches more and more activities present themselves for plenty of scares and fun. I have several things that I will discuss and talk about this season but I wanted to get another song out there because of the positive response of the last couple I wrote about. So, let us talk about the song, “Heads will Roll,” by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
This upbeat/tempo song was played at a recent haunt that I went to this year. Howl O Scream at Busch Gardens, but we will talk about that later. This song kicked off the Circus area presented at Busch Gardens as a dark but upbeat song. I went home and checked out the video. Yes this was a interesting video that I enjoyed. It takes place at an underground parlor/bar in England it looks like from the decor and guests. It gives you the feel of Werewolf in London a decent horror movie that has its own cult following. The band starts playing this song while the guest watch in entertainment as a dancing werewolf comes from the back. As the song continues the show gets better, but in a twist of fate the werewolf gets blinded by lights and then goes nuts. Massacring the entire bar. The artistic view is as each person gets disemboweled or ripped apart, red confetti flies everywhere. Ending with the band getting murdered.
This song is an excellent song for you haunters out there especially in a circus haunt or a city haunt, even if there was a club haunt. The tempo is up but the lyrics talk of decapitation and dancing afterwards until you die. Creepy but fun.
